Basil with Labane
(Oriental Sour white Cheese)
If you listen well, you can hear the labane laughing when meeting with the basil and olive oil.
Products:
300g of fine labane; handful of basil, thinly cut; 1 crushed garlic clove; 2-3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed – Bustan Abraham; salt.
For service:
Extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed – Bustan Abraham; bit of finely cut basil.
Preparation:
Mix all products until obtaining a smooth texture; stay for at least thirty minutes for fusion of tastes; transfer to a service dish and form a hole with a tablespoon; pour some olive oil into the hole and spread a bit of basil on top.
The Orchard Meals:
rich rustic bread, vegetable and onion salad, butter, light red wine.
