Galilean Style Pastrami

A wonderful and simple recipe. As main course, for sandwiches, supplement to lettuce salad and vegetables.


 
Products:
 
Whole turkey breast, cut into half; 4 tablespoons of olive oil; thinly sliced garlic; salt and pepper; 2 tablespoons of "Galilean orchard spice – for chicken, meat and grill".
 
Tip: Prepare the second half of the turkey breast in another flavor (see Diversification).
 
Preparation:

Place the olive oil, Orchard herbs, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix; rub the mixture on all sides of the meat, and immerse for 4 hours; heat the oven to 200 degrees; place inside for 20-30 minutes; once in a while, pour the sauce formed upon the meat; take out of oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing.
 
Possible diversifications:

Season with other "Galilean orchard spices" for a diversity of flavors; add a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice; add 2 tablespoons of "Galilean honey – from wild mountain flowers"; add freshly cut basil to the mixture.
 
The Orchard Meal: prepare pastrami in several flavors, slice thinly and arrange upon a service plate. Supplements: fresh rustic bread, tehina, home made mayonnaise, fine Dijon mustard. Several fresh salads: lettuce, cabbage, carrot, tomato and onion and all sorts of good and quality appetizers. Indulge yourself.
