Spiced Labane (Oriental Sour white Cheese)
Labane is a wonderful raw material. It accepts almost every spice with happiness and surrender. With the addition of quality olive oil, a smooth and pleasant texture is obtained.
Products:
300g of fine labane; handful of coriander, thinly cut / other diversification (see diversification below); green onion – the green part; 2-3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed – Bustan Abraham; salt.
For service:
Galilean orchard za'atar; extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed – Bustan Abraham.
Preparation:
Mix all products until obtaining a smooth texture; stay for at least thirty minutes for fusion of flavors; transfer to a service dish and form a hole with a tablespoon; pour some olive oil into the hole and spread the za'atar.
Diversification:
* Add some cumin to the labane during the mixing; instead of coriander, finely shred cucumber with a grater, then squash to extract the fluids; add a tablespoon of "orchard herbs" mixture.
The Orchard Meal:
thin and fresh Lebanese pita, crushed olives, plate of tomatoes and onion cut into slices,
