Summer Cucumber Salad
A cucumber salad has to be the freshest it can be. You can prepare it an hour in advance. The seasoning should be poured a minute before eating. Freshen up.
Products:
8-10 sliced cucumbers (preferably unpeeled); 1/2 red pepper, cut into thin slices; 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced; whole lemon with skin, cut into small dice; fine Bulgarian cheese, crumbled into small lumps; 1-2 teaspoons of "Galilean orchard spice – for cheeses and salads".
For seasoning:
8 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed – Bustan Abraham; freshly squeezed lemon juice from half a lemon; one tablespoon of quality balsamic vinegar; salt; pinch of sugar.
Preparation:
Put all products in a bowl; mix all components of the seasoning in the bowl and pour on the salad; mix and spread the Bulgarian cheese; serve right away.
The Orchard Meal:
impressive supplement to a grand dinner. Also excellent as an appetizer with a glass of anis or chilled white wine.
